Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe

Combinations with strawberries are unlimited when using it in your smoothie.
To keep it simple, here is one of my favourite, classic strawberry and banana smoothie recipe.

Equipment

  • Vitamix or a high powered blender I recommend a Vitamix

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk Use any plant based milk to make this vegan. I have tried it with coconut and cashew milk and both are as delicious.
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • ¼ cup ice

Instructions

  • Into a Vitamix container milk, banana, strawberries and ice
  • Once you've loaded your ingredients, close the lid well and select variable 1 and turn the machine on slowly increasing the speed to high. Make sure to use the tamper to push the ingredients down when blending.
  • Pour into a glass or mason jar, top with a few strawberries, and enjoy.
